Check out the Luxury of the Ram Laramie Limited

Can you really ever have too much of a good thing? Well, candy, maybe … or seconds on mashed potatoes. The Ram brand, on the other hand, says “no way” with another heaping helping of top-of-the-line luxury added to the lineup.

Joining the popular Ram Laramie Longhorn in setting a new standard for pickup truck capability and elegance – the 2012 Ram Laramie Limited makes its debut at the Chicago Auto Show on Feb. 8, with an approach to life that’s more refined luxury, compared to Longhorn’s southwestern theme.

For starters, Laramie Limited sports a clean “street truck” look, with badging confined to a Ram’s head logo and small “Limited” badge on the tailgate. A peek inside reveals a full-leather cockpit with sleek, ultra-premium Natura Plus leather seating. Cabin accents feature sophisticated surfaces of high gloss piano-black and liquid graphite with splashes of bright chrome. Look closely and you’ll even see “Designed in Detroit” imprinted on the gauge cluster.

Ram Truck President and CEO Fred Diaz predicts the Laramie Limited will generate plenty of interest since its “designed to meet the high expectations of affluent pickup truck buyers looking to combine capability with elegance.”

Simply put … where the Longhorn fits perfectly with the needs and expectations of, say, a rancher hauling horses … the Laramie Limited’s sleek look and luxury feel are designed to mesh perfectly with customers whose needs and passions run more toward sporty ventures like towing ski boats, race cars or snowmobiles in comfort and class.
