Meet the 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat
From the Chrysler Blog...

August 13, 2014 2:48 PMThe cat is out of the bag -- again!
The cover is off the 2015 Dodge Charger SRT HEMI® Hellcat, and the performance is just as fierce as the new Dodge Challenger SRT HEMI Hellcat that's been burning up the Internet with all the burnout videos recently. Watch the car being revealed at http://new.livestream.com/chryslerlive/DodgeProductReveal
Here's the amazing news: Just like the Challenger SRT Hellcat, the new Charger SRT Hellcat's supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine cranks out 707 horsepower and 650 pounds-feet of torque. That's enough power to propel the Charger SRT Hellcat to a top speed of 204 mph. On production tires the car covers the quarter-mile in 11.0 seconds and runs from 0 to 60 in mph in 3.7 seconds.
This latest SRT vehicle continues Dodge's momentum, which started last year with a redesigned Durango and pitchman Ron Burgundy. Then the redesigned 2015 Dodge Charger and Challenger were unveiled, followed by the Challenger SRT HEMI Hellcat. Dodge brand CEO Tim Kuniskis said Dodge was the top-searched car brand on Google in July.
The new Dodge Charger SRT HEMI Hellcat was unveiled Wednesday at the Vinsetta Garage on Detroit's fabled Woodward Avenue, home to this week's Woodward Dream Cruise. Big horsepower and loud exhaust have been Woodward's calling card for decades. The new Charger SRT HEMI Hellcat fits right in.
"This car, most brands would never bring to market. There's no business case," Kuniskis told journalists at the reveal. "Sometimes you need to disregard the data. This car redefines practicality. We do this to build our brand."
Other key facts:
- The supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI Hellcat engine uses the same basic architecture as the naturally aspirated 6.4-liter HEMI V-8, but 92 percent of the parts are uniquely engineered for the Hellcat.
- Each HEMI Hellcat engine is run on a dynamometer for 42 minutes before it leaves the engine factory in Saltillo, Mexico, to be installed in the car in Brampton, Ontario.
- Like the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT HEMI Hellcat, the new Charger HEMI Hellcat has a dedicated air intake up front. In the Charger the intake is hidden behind the grille.
- Every 2015 Dodge Charger SRT HEMI Hellcat is equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
- You can spot the new Charger SRT HEMI Hellcat by the dual heat extraction vents in the hood and the Hellcat badge on the front quarter fenders.
The new 2015 Dodge Charger SRT HEMI Hellcat arrives in showrooms in the first quarter of 2015. Pricing hasn't been announced yet.

Camp Jeep takes you for a ride - @ auto show.
Every year, auto shows attract millions of people worldwide to see
the newest products and concept vehicles. But, let’s face it,
stationary vehicles aren’t exactly thrilling. Vehicles are
made to be driven, and Chrysler Group gives show goers a unique
interactive experience.
Within the Chrysler Group stand at various auto shows, passengers are able to experience vehicles firsthand. One of the biggest attractions is Camp Jeep®. This isn’t the type of camp where you pitch a tent and roast marshmallows, rather an indoor test track that resembles an off-road trail.
